Thomas Kirk Lawton

Thomas Kirk Lawton, Jr., 68, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Donna Enrietti Lawton entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 17, 2019. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Grahamville, 2718 Bees Creek Road at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Grahamville Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Thomas was born November 4, 1950 in Ridgeland, South Carolina, son of the late Thomas Kirk Lawton and Margaret Jenkins Lawton. He was a graduate of The Citadel, Class of 1973 and a retired Merchant Mariner with Exxon Mobile Shipping Company.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Donna; two sons: Thomas Graham Lawton (Erin) and Samuel Walker Lawton all of Charleston, SC; two brothers; Samuel D. Lawton (Kay) and William Lee Lawton both of Ridgeland, SC; and grandchild, Alex Lawton.
