Thomas J. King

Thomas J. King, III, 45, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, February 8, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 in St. John's Parish Church, 3673 Maybank Highway at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Churchyard. Reception immediately following in Walton Hall. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Thomas was born September 16, 1970 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Lynne Mohrmann Bernthal and the late Thomas Jenkins King, Jr. He was a graduate of Middleton High School and Trident Technical College. Thomas was an auto mechanic with Williams Tire Company and a member of St. John's Parish Church.

Thomas is survived by his mother, Lynne and her husband David F.L. Bernthal of Charleston, SC; sister, Elizabeth J. Yandle (Jason) of Johns Island, SC; maternal grandfather, Edwin R. Mohrmann (Phyllis); aunts: Becky Kitchens (Wayne) of Richmond Hill, GA, Jan Mattioli (Ronald) of Johns Island, SC, Margaret E. Mohrmann (Deborah Healey) of Charlottesville, VA and Donna M. Hanna of Charlotte, NC; uncle, Reverend Ray Mohrmann (Ann) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; nephew, Matthew T. Yandle, and niece, Sarah A. Yandle. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Kathryn Wohlers Mohrmann and paternal grandparents, Thomas J. King, Sr. and Joanna Hart King.
