Thomas E. Hyatt

Thomas E. Hyatt, 70, of Isle Of Palms, South Carolina, husband of Sydney Lighthart Hyatt died Wednesday, June 7, 2017. His Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Tom was born April 9, 1947 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Fabe Dempsey Hercules Hyatt and the late Josephine Powe Hyatt. A loving father, grandfather and beloved brother, he will be remembered for the love that he was able to share with those around him. He will always be remembered for his inability to consider anyone a stranger, as well as sharing with those in need.

In addition to his wife, Sydney, he is survived by his children, Victoria Zwakenberg, James Hyatt, Hannah Hyatt, and Alexander Hyatt; his grandchildren; his brother, Andrew Hyatt; and his sister, Robin Jennings.
