Thomas Soderberg Gealta

On the evening of Friday, November 5, 2010, the precious soul of Thomas Soderberg Gealta, Jr. passed on to the greater life to be with our heavenly Father.  Tom was born May 13, 1961 to the late Thomas Soderberg Gealta, Sr. and Beverly Beets Gealta.  He was the brother of Anne Gealta.

Tom was a graduate of Bonds Wilson High School and an employee of Lanxess for many years. 

Surviving are his mother, Beverly Beets Gealta; his sister, Anne Gealta; his niece, Liza Strong; his nephew, Zane Strong, all of Petaluma, CA; cousins, Matthew Miller of Stockton, CA and Catherine Miller of Las Vegas, NV; grand cousins, Robert Sibold, Jr. and Kristina Miller; and his uncle, Gregory Miller of Newark, CA.  He was preceded in death by his aunt, Elizabeth Miller and grandparents, Cecil and Maggie Gealta and Walter and Frances Beets. 

The relatives and friends of Tom are invited to attend his funeral service Monday, November 8, 2010 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pwky, at  6:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends at the West Ashley Chapel Monday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.
