Thomas Hugh Evans, Jr., 82, of Bonneau, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 1, 2024. His funeral service will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 4, 2024 in the Downtown Chapel from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. 

Thomas was born August 6, 1941 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, son of the late Thomas Hugh Evans, Sr. and Lucille Pendergrass Evans. 

Thomas is survived by his two daughters: Margaret E. Mauffray of Lexington, SC and Michelle Evans Eisert (Justin) of Huger, SC; and his five grandchildren Victor Gray Herring and Jackson Elliott Herring of Lexington, SC, Tyler Paul Eisert, Alyssa Pauline Eisert, and Breanna Sue Eisert of Huger, SC.
