Thomas Slade Dozier, Jr.

Thomas "Slade" Dozier, Jr., of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina entered into the Kingdom of God on April 25, 2015. Slade was born with his loving sister on October 18, 2013. While he was not on this earth long enough to have achieved the accomplishments that might usually be mentioned, he did bring the gift of 18 months of pure, unfiltered, unadulterated joy to all those who knew him. Even in such short time, he touched many lives, especially those of his parents and his sister. He will be deeply missed on this earth, but Heaven has gained a perfect little boy.

Surviving are his parents, Thomas Slade Dozier, Sr. and Laura Sanders Dozier of Mt. Pleasant; his dear twin sister, Sanders Elizabeth Dozier; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Lawrence Dozier, Jr. of Greenwood, SC and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Harry Sanders, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; his uncle, James Lawrence Dozier, III of Batavia, IL; his aunt and uncle, Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Griffin Dozier (Sarah & Meredith) of Florence, SC; and his uncle Bradley O'Neal Sanders of San Francisco, CA; along with numerous cousins and other loving family members.

A celebration of Slade's life will be held, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 302 Hibben Street, Mt. Pleasant at 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends on Friday, May 1, 2015 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
