Thomas Carr Devine

Thomas Carr Devine, III, 27, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Rachel Scarborough Devine entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 6, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 in Cathedral Church of St. Luke and St. Paul, 126 Coming Street at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Tommy was born February 7, 1989 in Rockville Centre, New York, son of Joanne Stutzmann Devine and the late Thomas Carr Devine, Jr. He graduated from Bluffton High School and attended Limestone College. He was the owner of DevineScapes Landscaping and Maintenance and attended the Cathedral Church of St. Luke and St. Paul. He loved his family very much and was expecting a daughter, Rose, in January.

In addition to his wife, Rachel, he is survived by his sister, Erin M. Piver (Hoyt) of Mount Pleasant, SC; brother, Michael F. Devine of Bluffton, SC; and nephew, Maxwell H. Piver.
