Thomas Edison Davis, 62, of Edisto Island, South Carolina, husband of Suzanne deTreville Davis, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 17, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 21, 2015, in Summerall Chapel, The Citadel, 171 Moultrie Street, at 3:00 p.m. Interment, The Bell Tower. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Thomas was born October 17, 1953 in Summerville, South Carolina, son of the late David Davis and Margaret Hinson Davis. He graduated from The Citadel, Class of 1975, and was a member and past president of The Summerville Area Citadel Club, The Citadel Foundation, The Citadel Big Red Flag Committee, and the Association of Citadel Men. Thomas was a Mason, a member of the Omar Shrine Temple and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville, SC. He worked with the SC Department of Revenue as a Revenue Officer.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne deTreville Davis, of Edisto Island, SC; daughters: Pearman deTreville Hayne of Columbia, SC and Shannon Davis of Summerville, SC; son, Tommy Davis of St. George, SC; and sisters: Karen Davis of Edisto Island, SC, and Lila Welborn of Amelia Island, FL.
