Thomas Mathis "TC" Crowder, Jr., 51, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011.  The relatives and friends of  "TC" Crowder, Jr. are invited to attend his Funeral Service Thursday, January 20, 2011 in Collins-McKee Stone Funeral Chapel, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA., at 11:00 a.m.   Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Gardens, Bassett, VA.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR INC. , MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL on Monday from 5:00 until 7:00pm.  Pallbearers for Virginia: Leon Towarnicki, Brian Nester, Jordan Bailey, Chase Bailey, David Bailey and Clay Bower.  TC was born March 25, 1959 in El Paso, TX, son of Col. Thomas Mathis Crowder, Sr., and Corinne Via Crowder. He was a Corporate Insurance Agent and a member of the Unity Baptist Church.  He is survived by his parents, Col. Thomas Mathis Crowder, Sr. and Corinne Via Crowder; two daughters, Brittany Ann Crowder of Nashville, TN and Kelli Brook  Crowder of Columbus, OH; brother, Lt. Col. Charles W. Crowder of Capetown, South Africa; sister, Robin Bailey of Carrollton, VA and several nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 950 Whipple Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
