Thomas Evan Bussey, Sr., 52, of Johns Island, South Carolina, son of Louise Brookbanks Bussey, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC.
Tom was born December 21, 1962 in Charleston, SC, son of Louise Brookbanks Bussey and Evan Z. Bussey. He was a former Chief Operating Officer with Dispenser Services, Inc. Tom was a member of the West Ashley Outboard Motor Club and of Citadel Square Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman that enjoyed hunting and cutting the grass on his family's farm.
He is survived by his mother, Louise Brookbanks Bussey of Johns Island, SC; his son, Thomas E. Bussey, Jr. of Johns Island, SC; his wife, Melinda Mann Bussey of Charleston, SC; his two sisters, Linda McDonald of Charleston, SC and Sandy Bussey- Turner of Johns Island, SC; and his niece, Kathryn Butt of Johns Island, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the South Carolina Memorial Reef, 3196 Marginal Road., Charleston, SC 29414.
