Theresa Davis Petit, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Ashley Logan Petit entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 25, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held at the graveside Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Carolina Memorial Park, at 10:00 am . The family will receive friends Tuesday December 30, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Theresa was born November 16, 1921 in Charleston, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James Henry Davis and Daisy Bee Davis. She was a home maker and a member of Asbury-St. James United Methodist Church.She is survived by her son, Ashley Dale Petit (Betsy) of Hollywood, SC; four grandchildren, Jody P. Igou (Gerald), Shelley P. Stinson (Chris), Steven Ashley Petit, and Ryan Robert Petit (Rebecca), five great-grandchildren, Zachary Stinson, Kylie Stinson, Julie Stinson, Madison Igou, and Allie Igou. She is predeceased in death by a brother, James Henry "Boots" Davis, Jr.
