Theonie Stavrinakis Mastoridis, 65, went home to the Lord on Friday October 11, 2024. Theonie was born on March 4, 1959, in Tampa, Florida to Emanuel Stavrinakis and Merofia Spanos.

She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She loved her daughter Mia above all but also enjoyed gathering with family, and celebrating her Greek-American heritage. Many knew Theonie as the General Manger at Manny’s restaurant for 30 years where she met and cared for countless customers and employees. 

Theonie is survived by her daughter Merofia (Mia) Mastoridis and stepson George Mastoridis, 2 sisters Katherine Heissenbuttle (m. Kenneth “Kenny”), Virginia Klein (m. Charles “Doug”), 2 brothers Michael Stavrinakis (m. Karen), and Leonidas (Leon) Stavrinakis (m. Anne), 9 nieces and nephews, and 1 great nephew all of whom she loved dearly. 

Services will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race Street, on Thursday October 17, 2024, at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to “Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity” in memory of Theonie.
