Theodore Silvester, Jr., 80, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Paulette Saurman Silvester entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Theodore Silvester was born on November 26, 1945, in Quincy, Massachusetts, a son of the late Theodore Silvester and Grace A. Cavallaro Silvester. A devoted husband and loving father, Theodore’s life was centered around the people he loved most. He was self-employed throughout his career and will be remembered for his dedication, independence, and strong work ethic.

Theodore’s presence brought comfort and warmth to those around him. His love for his family was evident in the life he lived and the relationships he treasured. The memories he created with his loved ones will continue to bring them comfort and will remain forever in their hearts.

In addition to his beloved wife, Theodore is survived by his son, Theodore Silvester III and his three daughters Kimberly Hitchings, Christine Hall, and Kathleen Cavallaro. He cherished every moment surrounding himself with his grandchildren Theodore Silvester IV, Joseph Silvester, Alexandra Hall, Lauren Hall, Sophia Dagostino, Michael Dagostino, Grace Hitchings, and Katie Hitchings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Silvester and Grace A. Silvester.

Theodore will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will be lovingly cherished for many years to come.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Waterfront at the Elks in Portsmouth, NH on November 1st.
