Thelma Kiser Leitch, 103, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Joseph Clyde Leitch entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 in John Wesley United Methodist Church, 626 Savannah Highway at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday in the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
Thelma was born July 8, 1914 in Estill, South Carolina, daughter of the late Marcus Kiser and Jenny Drawdy Kiser. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star, member of the Methodist Women, and John Wesley United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her three daughters, Gene Limehouse (Lawton, Sr) of Charleston, SC, Joann Leitch Etu (David) of Columbia, SC, Audrey Frost of Cary, NC; eight grandchildren, Alyson Limehouse of Palm Beach, FL, Amy Limehouse Eager (Derek), Elese Limehouse Sifly (Jay), Lawton Limehouse, Jr., of Charleston, SC, Kelly Stanton (Steve), David Etu, Jr., (Tracy) both of Columbia, SC, Shannon Midkiff (Kirk) of Cary, NC, Kristen De Paula (Bernardo) of CA, sixteen great- grandchildren, Alden Limehouse Thompson, Elliotte Limehouse (Jessica), Marcus Limehouse (Hallie), Lee Limehouse, Brooking Limehouse Eager, Will Sifly, Lawton Sifly, Ashley Midkiff, and Garrett Midkiff both of Cary, NC, Elias De Paula, and Olivia De Paula, both of CA; Jacob, Joseph, and Jackson Stanton, Will and Tyler Etu all of Columbia; three great-great grandchildren, Liam Limehouse, Maeve Limehouse, Lillyana Limehouse of Charleston, SC, special nephew, Jim Kiser (Elaine), goddaughter, Rae Wolfensberger, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins of the lowcountry.
