Thelma Iloene Colson

Thelma Ilene Ellis Colson, 84, of Charleston, SC, died Monday, March 14, 2011, in the Hospice Center of Charleston in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Born December 22, 1926 in South Dakota she was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ellis.  She was a retired store manager for Kmart.

Mrs. Colson is survived by her daughter, Sandy Chandler; son, William Colson both of Charleston, SC; and grandson, Chris Chandler and his wife Ashley of Rock Hill, NC.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfield Colson; son, Michael Colson; and daughter, Margaret Colson.

The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Friday between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
