Thai Quang Ton

Thai Quang Ton, 50, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Oanh Mai passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, December 19, 2014 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Remembrances will be offered at 7:00 pm.

Thai was born October 8, 1964 in Ben Tre, Viet Nam, son of Tong Thanh Ton and Ven Thi Nguyen. A cosmotologist, he enjoyed cooking, walking in the evenings with his children, and singing.

He is survived by his wife, Oanh Mai of Mount Pleasant, SC; his children, Hoang Vi Nu Ton of Mount Pleasant, SC, Thai Lam Ton of Mount Pleasant, SC, Vinh Ton of Mount Pleasant, SC, Brian Mai of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Christopher Smith of Mount Pleasant, SC; his brothers and sisters, Thanh Huong Ton of Viet Nam, Kim Trac of Mount Pleasant, SC, Phong Ton of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Hien Quang Ton of Viet Nam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
