Terry Allen Jacobs, 65, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 16, 2013. His memorial tribute and bridge game in his memory will be held Monday, September 23, 2013, in Charleston Bridge Center, 1740 Ashley Hall Road, at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
Terry was born October 9, 1947, in Goshen, Indiana, son of Dwight R Jacobs and the late Mildred Basinger Jacobs. He served in the US Marines and was a Vietnam Veteran. Terry returned to Youngstown State University and received his Bachelor's degree. He made his living as a professional landscaper and doing construction work.
He was an avid bridge player and an ACBL Gold Life Master. Terry loved classical music and was of the Mennonite faith. He was a kind and sweet man to those who knew him.
He is survived by his father, Dwight R Jacobs, Arcadia, FL; Trent (Sarah) Jacobs, son of Marcia Jacobs of Minneapolis, MN; a sister, Eileen (David) Stewart, North Lima, OH; four brothers: Bruce Jacobs, Olympia, WA, Carl (Jo Ann) Jacobs, Aiea, HI, Stanley Jacobs, New Waterford, OH and Randall (Rachel) Jacobs, Goshen, IN; a granddaughter, Cirenya Jacobs; and friend, Christina Ritsch, North Charleston, SC.
