Terry Allen Ginsberg

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Terry Allen Ginsberg, beloved brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Terry, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, August 15, 2026, in Charleston, South Carolina, following a courageous ten-year battle with cancer. He was born on November 1, 1947 in Bishopville, South Carolina, son of the late Howard Lyon Ginsberg and Bessie Rivka Baumrind Ginsberg.

Terry will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Tricia Haberman, and her husband, Michael, his beloved nieces, Alison Haberman Smith and Erica Haberman Smith. Also, another niece, Miriam Bumgarner. Numerous cousins and extended family members, and the countless friends whose lives he touched throughout the years.

Terry was a special and cherished part of his family, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His courage, spirit, kindness, and the memories he created with those around him will never be forgotten.

A memorial service celebrating Terry’s life and legacy will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at J. Henry Stuhr Downtown Chapel in Charleston, South Carolina.
