Terry Hayden Flowers, 68, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Debra Nance Flowers died Thursday, December 1, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 a.m.
Terry was born August 12, 1948 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, son of the late Hayden William Flowers and the late Edna Lee Johnson Flowers. Terry served in the US Army Reserves from 1969-1982. After graduating from Central State University, he began his career in the textile industry which continued for 28 years. Terry and Debra then moved to Charleston in 1997 and became owners and innkeepers at King George IV Inn for 19 years.
In addition to his wife, Debra, he is survived by his children, Stanfill Hayden Flowers of Charleston, and Julia Flowers Gaul (Aaron) of Redondo Beach, CA; and grandchildren, Scarlett Rainey Flowers, Hayden Stanfill Flowers, and Denver Hayden Gaul.
