Terris R. Bennett

Terris R. Bennett, Jr., 65, of Huger, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 2, 2022. His memorial service will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Please join the family an hour prior for visitation.

Terry was born April 6, 1956 in Savannah, Georgia, son of Johnie Williams Bennett and the late Terris R. "Pete" Bennett, Sr. He was self-employed in the concrete industry, and enjoyed both hunting and fishing in the Lowcountry.

He is survived by his mother, Johnie Faye Bennett of Huger, SC; four sisters, Theresa K. Perry (Michael) of Ridgeville, Annette Bennett Vaughn (Mike) of Huger, Louise B. Mitchum of Huger, SC and Carolyn Bennett Garvin (Tommy) of Adams Run; two brothers Noah Rey Bennett (Sandy) of Summerville, and Jason Lee Bennett (Autumn) of Bronson, MI; and two sisters-in-law Brenda Bennett and Dawn Bennett both of Brunson, MI. He was also a wonderful uncle to 40 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Bennett, and two brothers, Warren E. Bennett and Kenneth E. Bennett.
