Teresa was born October 21, 1955 in Birmingham, Alabama, daughter of the late Wayne Lewis Kirby and Martha Ann Kirby.
Teresa was known as "Terri" to her family and friends. She was previously employed as an administrative assistant in the Charleston county school district. She preferred being a housewife and liked participating in her children's school PTA and volunteering in their classes. She was active in the Lutheran church until her health prevented it. More recently she focused her attention on her two granddaughters Kylie and Peyton, loving and spending time with them. Kylie and Peyton loved their "Grammy" who would give them whatever they wanted. Terri was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" Blitch, son Derek (Kimberly) Blitch, daughter Megan Blitch, granddaughters Kylie and Peyton, mother Ann Kirby of Hueytown AL, brothers Randy (Brenda) Kirby of Brandon MS, Kenny (Pat) Kirby of Hueytown AL, Ricky Kirby of Hueytown AL and Danny (Debbie) Kirby of Zebulon NC, aunts Carolyn Lewis and Carolyn (Ted) Shipp all of Hueytown AL along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
