Tara Sturgeon Fisher

Tara Sturgeon Fisher, 43, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, wife of Bruce E. Fisher, died at her home Sunday, September 19, 2010.

Born December 30, 1966, in Newberry, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Frances Sturgeon Bootle and step-daughter of the late Thomas Michael Bootle, Sr. Mrs. Fisher grew up on Folly Beach, South Carolina. 

Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband of 11 years Bruce E. Fisher of Goose Creek, South Carolina; mother, Frances Sturgeon Bootle of James Island, South Carolina; two daughters, Trinity Fulmer Sturgeon and Bethany Frances Conner both of James Island, South Carolina; three step-children: Benjamin Joseph Fisher and Nicholas Lee Fisher both of Goose Creek and Heather Marie Fisher of Summerville, South Carolina; three grandchildren: Rylan Ellis Dorsey, Gabriella Fisher and Charlize Fisher; aunt, Cynthia Sturgeon Byrns of Folly Beach, South Carolina and uncle, Frank N. Sturgeon, Jr. of Bradenton, Florida. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Martha Clowney Sturgeon.

The memorial service will be held at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Family friends will be received at the Fisher residence after the service.
