Tara Marie Combes

Tara Marie Combes, 58, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00pm.  The family will receive friends an hour before the service.

Tara was born August 16, 1964, in Manhattan, New York City, New York, daughter of the late Crete B. Combes and the late Paulette Slachta Combes. She grew up on Long Beach, lived in Rockland County and moved to the Lowcountry 2 years ago. She enjoyed her work as a florist and will be remembered for the way she loved her family.  

She is survived by sister, Dawn Nasano, her brother-in-law Val Nasano of Mt. Pleasant, SC; niece, Sara Nasano; nephew, Alex Nasano; two aunts, Gail Allen of Merrick, NY, Leigh Phillips of Jackson Heights, Queens, NY; and three cousins, Stacey Lecca of Merrick, NY, Holly Phillips of Fairlawn, NJ, and Chris Phillips of Jackson Heights, Queens, NY.
