Tanyia Dawn Young Lewis, 52, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. The relatives and friends of Tanyia Lewis are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, July 14, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 13, 2012 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.
Tanyia was born on September 2, 1959 in Birmingham, Alabama, daughter of Fred Lee Young and Grace "Penny" Goodman Young.
She is survived by her parents, Fred and Grace Young of Isle of Palms, SC; one daughter, Victoria Grace Lewis of Isle of Palms; one sister, Sandria Michelle Long-McLean of Candler, NC and two brothers, Fred Lee Young, II of Franklin, TN and Byron Anthony Young of Ozwakie, KS.
