Tammy Lynn Hinson

Tammy Lynn Hinson, 52, of Summerton, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 4, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, October 08, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEl, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 11:00 a.m. Burial Services will be private. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Wednesday, October 7, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Tammy was born May 9, 1963 in Charleston, SC, daughter of Thomas Hinson and Barbara Suggs Dantzler. She was a graduate of Goose Creek High School and worked as a hairdresser. Tammy was a good hearted person who cared for and rescued animals. She wrote poetry and enjoyed gardening. She was of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara S. and step-father, Dr. Thomas M. Dantzler of Goose Creek, SC; father, Thomas "Tommy" and step-mom, Bonnie Hinson, of Columbia, SC; beloved companion, Eddie Garrison of Summerton, SC; grandmother, Irmalee Suggs of Goose Creek, SC; aunts and uncles, Carole and Terry Duncan of Eutawville, SC, Bill and Fran Suggs and Roy and Linda Suggs, all of Charleston, SC; niece, Lauren Zilker of Summerville, SC; three step-brothers, Thomas Middleton Dantzler, II and his wife, Stacy, of Charleston, SC, Harold Lynn Dantzler and his wife, Cathy, of Hanahan, SC, and John Patrick Dantzler and his wife, Sandra, of Greenville, NC. She is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond William Hinson and sister, Laura Jean Zilker.
