Talmadge Tyler Russell, Jr.

Talmadge Tyler Russell Jr., 67, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Judith Eileen MacAulay, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 17, 2024. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, at 1:00 pm. Burial with Army honors, will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 pm.

T was born September 21, 1956, in Malden, Massachusetts, a son of the late Talmadge Tyler Russell Sr., and the late Geraldine Faulkner Russell. He proudly served in the Army and was a heavy machine mechanic for more than 25 years, at CMCI. T received an associates degree in heavy machine mechanics from Trident Technical College. He was extremely proud of his nephew, Paul Jr., for joining the Army. He will be remembered as an easy going, gentle giant, that loved his family and was a friend to everyone he met. 

In addition to his wife, of 33 years, he is survived by beloved pets, Breanna, Chase/Winky and Terror (the cat); his brother, Paul Russell (Lynn), John Russell; and his sisters, Betty Russell, Catherine and Yvonne; brothers in law, Neil MacAulay, Wayne Sparks and Sean MacAulay (Debbie), and many nieces and nephews. 

Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
