Sylvia Lawrence-Ritchie, 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Don Ritchie went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Downtown Chapel.

Sylvia was born August 14, 1939 in Cheraw, South Carolina, daughter of the late Willis C. Mills and the late Grace William Howard Taft Butler Mills. She was a retired LPA and business manager.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 25 years; her two daughters: Sylvia Buzzanne Patterson (Mark) of Smyrna, GA and Theresa Susan Lawrence of Brunswick, GA; three grandchildren: Joshua Michael London (Trish), Darian Suzanne Lawrence and Jeffrey Michael Hoogacker; and one great-grandchild, Gabriel London.
