Sylvia Ammons Kinsey

Sylvia A. Kinsey died October 21, 2010.  She was born to Henry Ammons and Ruth Jane Funderburk on November 12, 1939, in Lancaster, S.C.  She retired as a nurse and school teacher as well as homemaker and volunteer.  Always caring for others.  Her husband, M. Bruce Kinsey, a son, Marshall Kinsey, (Bridget), and two grandsons, Simon and Oliver survive her. 

Funeral services will be at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at three o'clock.  You may meet with the family there one hour before services.  Interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 2090 Executive Hall Road, Suite 130, Charleston, SC 29407, Piedmont Hospice, 501-A Deanna Lane, Wando, SC  29492, or Citadel Square Baptist Church, 328 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC  29401.
