Sybil Hoff O'Reilly

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 11, 2010, Mrs. Sybil Hoff O'Reilly, wife of Col. Patrick E. O'Reilly USAF (Ret.), of Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. O'Reilly are invited to attend A Mass of Christian Burial of the latter in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Friday morning, July 16, 2010 at nine-thirty.  Prayers of Final Commendation will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Thursday afternoon from five until seven o'clock.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of South Carolina, 500 Taylor Street, Suite 101, Columbia, SC  29201-3000.

Mrs. O'Reilly was born on July 29, 1937 in Walterboro, SC, daughter of the late Wilford Hoff and Dorothy Padgett Hoff.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  Mrs. O'Reilly was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and an avid bowler.

Surviving are her husband of forty-nine years, three sons, Patrick O'Reilly, Jr. and wife, Lynn, of Salisbury, MD, Dennis O'Reilly and wife, Candy, of Greenville, NC, Andrew O'Reilly and wife, Nicola, of Denver, CO, one brother, Gen. Wilford Hoff, Jr. U.S. Army, (Ret.) and wife, Carolyn of Manning, SC, two sisters, Dot H. Migala of Katy,TX and Marie Sealey and husband, Lee, of North Charleston; and nine grandchildren,  Erin, Colleen, Jack, Finn, David, Natalie, Fiona, Ewan, and Piers O'Reilly.
