Swan was born in Georgetown, SC, the daughter of the late Daniel James "Jim" Wall and Aline Hartley Wall. Swan received her bachelor's degree from Charleston Southern University and was a retired real estate broker.
Swan is survived by her husband, Thomas "Tom" Paumier of Cross, SC; daughter, Suzanne Altman Carter (Randy) of Folly Beach, SC; son, Brian Edward Altman (Pam) of Ridgeville, SC; her grandson, Edward Mason Mullinax of Charleston, SC; brothers, DJ Wall (Jenny) of Merritt Isle, FL, Lewis Wall of GA; sisters Lavonde Wall Goggins (Harry) of Longs, SC, Toni Wall Lee (Don) Little River, SC.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Anne Altman of Summerville, SC; sister, Elizabeth H. "Linda" Roswell of Georgetown, SC, and her granddaughter, Savannah Nicole Mullinax of Lebanon, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to the Berkeley County Animal Center of Moncks Corner, SC.
Swan leaves behind her beloved Pomeranian puppies Bella, Melvin, and Wolfie.
