Suzanne Hicks Hooper, 54, of Auburn, Washington, formerly of Charleston, SC, wife of Larry R. Hooper entered into eternal rest Monday, December 3, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018 in James Island Christian Church, 12 Sawgrass Road at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
Suzanne was born September 14, 1964 in Charleston, SC, daughter of Patricia Burns Hicks and the late Robert Horace Hicks. She was a graduate of Middleton High School and attended the College of Charleston. Suzanne was a former supply technician with the Naval Supply Center. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and was fascinated by hummingbirds. She also enjoyed music, concerts and spending time with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Larry R. Hooper of Auburn, WA; mother, Patricia Hicks of Charleston, SC; two sons, Christopher James Bradley and Patrick Dean Bradley both of Corvallis, OR; two uncles, Hal Burns (Judy) of Raleigh, NC, Charles G. Burns of Cayce, SC, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert H. Hicks and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Burns.
