Susanna Moore Hill

June 5, 1925 — September 10, 2010

Susanna Moore Hill, 85, widow of Henry Baker Hill, who passed in 1975, of Awendaw, SC, formerly of North Charleston, SC, entered into a peaceful rest with the Lord on Friday, September 10, 2010 at The Hospice Center of Charleston. The relatives and friends of Susanna Moore Hill are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Monday, September 13, 2010 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 3:00 p.m.  Inurnment will be private at a later date. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Susanna was born June 5, 1925 in Beaufort, NC, first daughter of William Earle Moore and Alice Earl Willis.  Surviving are her two daughters, Rebecca Magwood (Andrew) of Awendaw, SC and Susan Hill of Summerville, SC; two sons, Selden (Bud) Hill of McClellanville, SC and Henry G. Hill of Goose Creek, SC; five grandchildren, Leslie Lawson (Mark), Amy Geddes (Don), Melissa Mayfield (Don), Brian Hill (Teri) and Tim Kalnin; eight great-grandchildren, Justin Bresch, Rebecca Bresch, Toby Mayfield (Chelsea), Brandyn Hill, Stormie Mizzell, Colebie Mayfield, Katelyn Smoak, Christian Hill; one great-great grandchild, Kaylee Mayfield; two sisters, Ethelwyn M. Cantley of St. Cloud, FL and Frances M. Livingston of Summerton, SC and former daughter-in-law, Deborah P. Hill of North Charleston, SC.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, W. Earle Moore, Jr. Selden D. Moore and George W. Moore.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The Village Museum, PO Box 595, McClellanville, SC 29458.
