Susan F. Sprague Vaiksnoras, age 62, of Summerton, SC wife of Raymond Alvin Vaiksnoras, died Thursday, December 22, 2011, in a Charleston hospital.
Born April 26, 1949 in Charleston, SC she was one of four children of Warren Sprague and Doris Amelia Voss Sprague. Mrs. Vaiksnoras was a paralegal and had worked for the US Census. She was a good wife and loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Vaiksnoras is survived by her husband of 26 years, Raymond "Ray" A. Vaiksnoras of Summerton, SC; daughter, Kathlene Dangerfield; grandsons, Brandon Dangerfield and Joseph Dangerfield all of Ladson, SC; mother, Doris Amelia Crosby; and stepfather, Carl E. Crosby of Goose Creek, SC; sisters, Carol Martin of Goose Creek, SC and Linda Martin of Moncks Corner, SC; and brother, Phillip "Bubba" Sprague of Goose Creek, SC.
The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 1-2:00 PM. A private memorial service will be held.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
