Susan S. Hill

Susan S. Hill, 66, of North Charleston, South Carolina, wife of William Joseph Hill entered into eternal rest Sunday, September 3, 2017. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL. at 10:00 am. Burial will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 3302 Hwy 25 North, Hodges, SC 29653 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Susan was born October 17, 1950 in Abbeville, SC, daughter of Samuel Elmer Smith and Helen Inez Banister Smith. She was a 1968 graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School and Greenville School of Cosmetologist in 1970. Susan was an administrative assistant at Stokes Honda. In October of 2012 she underwent a successful Bilateral Lung Transplant at Duke University Hospital. She enjoyed traveling to places such as Disney World, San Diego, San Francisco, Pensacola, Washington DC, Scotland, and England. Susan also cruised in the Caribbean and enjoyed offshore fishing.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bill, son, William Donald Hill (Karen) and grandson, Tyler O'Neal Hill. The family extends their thanks to the pallbearers: Long Armstrong, Kevin Smith, Alex Hill, Johnathan Lynch, Brad Smith, and Will Bruce.
