After a life well-lived, Susan Jane Faver, wife of Patrick Lightner Faver, entered eternal peace on her 74th birthday, Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the Point Hope United Methodist Church, 3404 Turgot Lane at 3:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.
Born September 28, 1948, in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late John Kenneth Smith and the late Ruby Virginia Webb Smith. An only child and self-proclaimed "Air Force Brat" she married her high school sweetheart and became an Army Wife. She graduated from Texas Tech where she majored in education and fashion design. Suzy supported Pat throughout his military career and traveled all across the US, Thailand, and Germany working in the local school systems at each duty station. Suzy was a member of Point Hope United Methodist Church and was an avid tennis and bridge player. She loved the family as much as we loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Pat; two daughters, Shannon Faver Farmer of Mt. Pleasant, and Karey Faver Breen (Tom) of Mt. Pleasant; and five grandchildren, Payton Farmer, Kyle Farmer, Nicole Breen, Audrey Breen, and Victoria Breen.
Memorials may be made to Johns Hopkins, https://secure.jhu.edu/form/myositis. In honor of Suzy please support research in finding a cure for Inclusion Body Myositis
