Susan Ramonna Balkissoon Bobo, 60, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of S/Sgt Vincent Jerome Bobo, USAF (Ret.) entered into eternal rest Friday, June 11, 2021. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside Friday, June 18, 2021 in Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Thursday in J. Henry Stuhr Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Susan was born March 6, 1961 in Trinidad and Tobago, daughter of Harry Balkissoon and Polly Samlal Balkissoon. She earned her Bachelors Degree from the Oxford School of Nursing, London, England and worked as a hospital nurse.

Susan is survived by her parents, Harry and Polly of Trinidad and Tobago; three sons: Vincent Jerome Bobo II, Clark William Bobo and Ryan Emmerson Bobo; and daughter, Octavia Yvette Bobo all of Charleston, SC; seven siblings: Sally, Sandra, Selwyn, Renney, Sherene, Sean and Shelly; and three grandchildren: David, Charlotte and Lucas.
