Susan Marie Allen, 74, of Cordova, Tennessee, wife of Russell Timothy Allen, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Susan was born January 20, 1952, in Portsmouth, Virginia, daughter of the late Otis Raymond Teal and the late Willadean Maynard Teal. She was a Data Consultant with the Government. She enjoyed crocheting, being a Navy wife, wrote four books and was President of the Navy's Wife's Club in London, England.

She is survived by her husband, Russell, two sons, Eric Rickert of Charleston, SC and Kevin Rickert of Hanahan, SC, and grandson, Silas Rickert; brother, David Teal (Laurie) of Munford, TN; and two sisters, Mary Howell and Lizabeth Teal of Cordova, TN and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Rickert and her parents.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 22 from 3:00 until 5:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee.

Her graveside service will be held Monday, April 27, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Riverview Memorial Park 3715 Azalea Dr, North Charleston, SC 29405.
