Summar fought a courageous battle with breast cancer. She faced her illness with the same grace, compassion, and quiet strength that defined her life.

Summar was born on September 1, 1973 in Johnson City, Tennessee, daughter of the late Bobby Snyder and June Chambers Snyder.

Summar grew up with a generous heart and a deep love for family, friends, and community. She was known for her ability to make everyone feel seen and cared for, always putting others before herself. Whether she was surrounding herself with those she loved most, lending a listening ear, or simply sharing a warm smile, Summar made a lasting difference in the lives she touched.

She loved spending family time on the beach, especially at Hilton Head Island which was a family tradition for over 25 years. She could also be found behind the volunteer desk at Seacoast Church and occasionally even on the volleyball courts keeping her volleyball skills sharp; a lifelong passion of hers.

Her devotion to her loving Savior and Lord Jesus was priority for her as she lived out her Christian life in everything she did. Countless others going through cancer treatments were supported and loved by Summar while she was battling the disease herself. Her impact will live on in many other patients that she encouraged.

Her family was the center of her world. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-In-law, and friend—always present, always giving, always kind. Her home was filled with laughter, support, and love, a true reflection of who she was.

Summar started working right away after graduating from Daniel Boone High School, Johnson City, Tennessee, in 1991. She worked in operations, marketing, and management with Chick-fil-A for over 12 years. Following that, after completion of some college business courses, she found a job as a paralegal with Copeland Stair Valz & Lovell, LLP of Charleston, South Carolina and was a faithful employee there for 22 plus years.

In addition to her husband Bobby, Summar is survived by their daughter, Izzy Simpson; two brothers, Bobby (Natalie) Snyder, Lance (Michelle) Snyder; two nephews, Austin (Taylor) Snyder, Dillon (Lauren) Snyder, seven nieces, Brittney ( Tony )Pozega, Madison (Jason) Gilbert, Shea (Dalton) Haywood, Bree Simpson, Piper Simpson, Makayla Simpson, Mia Simpson; three great nieces, Palmer Ferrell, Riley Pozega, Reagan Snyder; four great nephews, Gray Snyder, Bryer Gilbert, Nash Gilbert, Tate Gilbert; in-laws, Bobby and Kathy Simpson; brother-in-law, Bryan Simpson; sister-in-law, Lea Simpson and four-legged friend Stella.

In addition to her parents, Summar is preceded in death by two beloved dogs whom she adored; Peyton and Lola.

The family would like to extend sincere appreciation and thankfulness to the doctors, nurses, staff and friends/co-workers of the following places for their tireless love and support of Summar during her illness.
