Sue Powell Bobo

Sue Powell Bobo, 68, of North Charleston, SC, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family.

Born April 24, 1943 in Walhalla, SC, she was one of two children of Millard and Gatha Wright.  Sue recently retired from MUSC and was a member of Cooper River Baptist Church.

Ms. Bobo is survived by three children:  Susanne Byrd of Seneca, SC, Scott Bobo and his wife Geraldine of North Charleston, SC and Jennifer Heard and her husband Greg of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Bailey Anne Byrd and Carl Scott Bobo; and her sister, Bonnie L. Scott of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.   She was preceded in death by her parents.

The memorial service will be held in Cooper River Baptist Church, 1059 Crawford Street, North Charleston, SC 29405, Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 1:00 PM.  The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road Friday, June 3, 2011 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
