Stuart Douglas Langston, 63, of Moncks Corner, SC, husband of Kathy Hogan Langston died Friday, August 25, 2017. His memorial service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:30 a.m.
Stuart was born May 25, 1954 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Stanley Langston and the late Anne Douglas Langston. He is preceded in death by siblings, Gerald Langston, Charlotte Williamson and Richard Langston.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two stepsons, Jamie Walker of North Charleston and Kyle Walker (Ashley) of Goose Creek; niece, Kera Langston Mead of Charleston. He will be loved and remembered by mother-in-law Mary Anderson of Goose Creek; sisters-in-law, Susan Anderson of Atlanta GA, Julie Anderson of Laurens, Lanny Pruitt of Spartanburg and brothers-in-law, Gary Jackson of Westminster and Skip Anderson of Columbia.
Stuart enjoyed the outdoors, wood-working, bird watching and football, especially the Miami Dolphins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Defeat Glioblastoma (GBM), a subsidiary of the National Brain Tumor Society at www.braintumor.org/donate.
