Steven Daniel "Dan" Hollen

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of November 4, 2011, Steven Daniel "Dan" Hollen, husband of Lou Ann Buchanan Parker. Residence, Summerville, SC. The relatives and friends of Dan Hollen are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Sunday, November 6, 2011 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC at 2:00 pm. Dan was born on January 1, 1951 in Buchanan, West Virginia; the son of Paul D. Hollen, II and Lola Irvin Hollen. He was a member of St. Andrew's Church, the St. Andrew's Praise Team, and former member of the vestry. He was active in the Soup Kitchen, Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts with his daughters. He participated in Cursillo at Camp St. Christopher. Dan will be remembered by his family and friends as an excellent chef and master of the grill, an enthusiastic college football fan and a devoted constant companion to "Maggie Mae", his beloved Jack Russell Terrier. He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann of Summerville; four daughters: Jennifer Lea Hollen of Mt. Pleasant; Catherine Anne Hollen of Charleston; Lindsay Augusta Hollen of Mt. Pleasant and Kimberly Parker Sumersett of Summerville; brother: Paul D. Hollen, III of Isle of Palms; two sisters: Cheryl Hollen Haman of Spartanburg and Cynthia Hollen of Isle of Palms; grandchildren: Kennen Sumersett and Bea Sumersett.
