His Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 7, 2026 at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 PM. Steven Henry was born on February 25, 1956, in Orlando, Florida, to the late Paul Henry and the late Shirley Faye Henry. Steven loved God and found great joy in serving others through his church, especially through the homeless ministry, “Taking It to the Streets.” His faith and compassion were an important part of who he was. A proud veteran, Steven honorably served six years in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He carried that same dedication and strength into every part of his life. Steven enjoyed fishing, hiking, kayaking, watching Carolina Panthers football, and spending time at the beach. Above all, he cherished his family and treasured the time they shared together. Steven will be remembered for his faith, his service to others, his love of the outdoors, and, most of all, his deep love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife of 46 years, he is survived by children: Christina Andrews of Montana, Angela Carswell (Derrick) of Hanahan, SC, and Brandon Henry (Krista) of Pace, FL; grandchildren: Courtney, Willow, Cedar, Libby (Nic), Gabriel, Zachary, Ashlee, John Luke and JT; sibling, Terri Haugh (Jeff) of Fort Meyers, FL; and loved niece and nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, David Henry.
Memorials may be made to Ensley First Baptist Church's Homeless Ministry, 50 West Johnson Ave., Pensacola, FL, "Taking it to the Streets".
