Steven Morris Heald

Entered into eternal rest the morning of Sunday, July 18, 2010, CPO Steven Morris Heald, USN (Ret). Residence, Walterboro, South Carolina. All services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL. Born June 22, 1944, in Wells, Kansas, Mr. Heald was the son of John Morris Heald and Margaret Virginia Seckler Heald. He was a Viet Nam veteran and retired from the US Navy with twenty years of service. He also was a 32deg. Mason and a former employee of Detyens Shipyard and Santee Cooper. Survivors include his wife: Doris J. Heald of Walterboro; two daughters: Patricia M. Aumock Shivley of Carterville, GA and Allison M. Aumock Mattice of Riverside, CA; five sons: Steven M. Heald, II of Walterboro, James S. Aumock, Sr., Dennis W. Aumock, both of North Charleston, John C. Aumock of Walterboro and Terry Q. Aumock of Ladson; two sisters: Marilyn Heald Farago of Ladson and Holly Heald Goering and her husband Vern of Kansas; a brother: Gerald C. Heald and his wife Sandy of CA; seven grandsons, nine granddaughters, two great-grandsons, and four great-granddaughters. Mr. Heald is preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
