Steven Scott Delinger, 68, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Davetta Rene Jessup Delinger entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 27, 2024. Funeral services will be held in Loveland, Colorado, at Foundations Church on Thursday, February 1st at 10 am. 1380 North Denver Ave, Loveland, CO. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Steve was born October 14, 1955 in Yuma, Colorado, son of the late Forest Amsey Delinger and the late Betty Jane Berry Delinger. He earned his degree in accounting at Colorado State University, where he met his wife Davetta. He was a self-employed CPA who was an avid golfer. A member of both Foundations Church in Windsor, CO, and Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC, Steve will be remembered for the simple ways he showed his faith: through kindness to others and fierce love for his family.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Davetta Delinger of Mount Pleasant; two daughters, Britnie Lynn Delinger Kane (Ian) of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Kailey Jessup Delinger Keels (Brian) of Mount Pleasant, SC; and five grandchildren, Maren Jessup Kane, Sawyer Scott Kane, Griffin James Kane, Blythe Catherine Keels, and Connor Delinger Keels. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin Delinger and David Delinger.
