Steve "Glenn" Mason, 62, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Pamela Denise Moore Mason entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 27, 2026. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 2, 2026 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road North Charleston at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens 7113 Rivers Ave North Charleston. The family will receive friends Monday, one hour prior to the service in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Glenn was born May 16, 1963 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late William Shoop and the late Barbara Beatrice Butler Shoop. He had a profound passion for building, particularly enjoying the art of crafting wooden items that reflected his skill and attention to detail. Glenn’s talent in woodworking was matched only by his love for basketball, a sport through which he fostered friendships and community connections throughout his life. However, it was his role as a grandfather that truly defined him. Glenn cherished his grandkids, showering them with affection and nurturing. He found pure joy in spending time teaching and playing with them.

In addition to his wife Pam, of 37 years, he is survived by children: Shannon Large (Dennis) of Moncks Corner and Derek Mason of Goose Creek; grandchildren: Anniston and Waylon; siblings: Tony Mason of Hanahan, Donna Farley of Rock Hill and William Shoop, Jr. of Goose Creek; cousin, Ann McGowan (Mike) of Summerville; aunt, Shirley Rhea of N. Charleston; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted.
