Stephen A. Yaeger, 78, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Susan L. Yaeger entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 25, 2026. His memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Stephen was born April 23, 1947 in Rochester, New York. He was the beloved son of the late Paul Yaeger and the late Virginia Buckley.

Stephen dedicated his career to working as an electrician, a profession that reflected his steady hands, sharp mind, and strong work ethic. He took pride in his craft and in the honest, dependable work he provided throughout his life.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his dedication to his family, and the simple, meaningful way he lived his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Yaeger, his sister, Mary Jane Yaeger and his children Stephanie (Scott) Wallace, Luke Yaeger, Emily Yaeger, and Kathryn (Cleason) Leasure.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Yaeger and Paul Yaeger; his brothers, Paul Yaeger and Richard Yaeger; and his sister, Carol Burke.
