Stephen Thomas Pool

Stephen Thomas Pool, 16, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 5, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 4:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, October 5, 2015 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 3:00 until time of the service.

Stephen was born November 21, 1998 in West Columbia, South Carolina, son of Mark S. Pool and Lisa Long Chappell. He was an 11th grade student at Wando High School, was a musician, enjoyed playing keyboard and guitar. He also loved to play video games, wakeboarding, surfing and snowboarding.

He is survived by his father, Mark S. Pool and his wife, Melanie of Goose Creek, SC; his mother, Lisa Chappell and her husband, Brian, of Mount Pleasant, SC; sister, Emily Pool of Goose Creek, SC; birth mother, Lisa Collins of James Island, SC; birth father, Rand Courtney and his wife, Nikki Pittam, of Los Angeles, CA; and several grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.
