Stephen Douglas "Doug" Jones, husband of Laura Yancey Jones, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 18, 2011. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Douglas Jones are invited to attend the memorial services of the former, at a time and day to be announced in January, 2012 in Riverland Hill Baptist Church, Columbia, SC.

Mr. Jones was born September 19, 1969 in Wilmington, NC, the son of William Talmage Jones and Margaret Susan Edwards Jones. He attended Elon College and East Carolina University.

He is survived by his wife: Laura Yancey Jones of Charleston, SC; his Mother: Sue Jones of Wilmington, NC; his Father: W. Talmage Jones (Beth) of Wilmington, NC; two brothers: Joshua Jones (Melanie) Aberdeen, MD and Bryan Jones (Kara) Morganton, NC; three nieces: Aidan Jones, Mary Lindley Jones and Lydia Jones; one nephew: Vance Jones.
