Stephen Thomas Hilton

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of June 1, 2011, Stephen Thomas Hilton, widower of Pauline Lanning Hilton.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Saturday, June 4, 2011at 3 pm.  Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL this Friday afternoon from 5 until 7 pm. 

Mr. Hilton was born January 31, 1925 in Charleston, SC, son of the late William Jacob Hilton and the late Daisy Lee Hilton.  He was a World War II veteran and served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired Shipfitter of 32 years with the Charleston Naval Shipyard.  Mr. Hilton was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

Surviving are his son R.Thomas Hilton and his wife Lisa of Charleston; his daughter, Maria Hilton of North Charleston; sister, Alva York of Charleston; and two grandchildren, Lori Hilton and Adrianne Hilton.
