Stephanie Michelle "Shelley" Grosso Hoffman, 34, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Bryan Miles Hoffman, and Mother of Miles Folger Hoffman (8 months), entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at Seacoast Church - West Ashley Campus at 3:00 p.m. Shelley's family will receive additional family & friends from 1pm-3pm, prior to the service.

Shelley was born June 14, 1988 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Dr. Michael Grosso and Elizabeth Folger Grosso. Shelley attended Charleston Southern University, and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree, and later a masters degree, in nursing. Following her education Shelley worked in Pediatric Cardiac Care and Case management for both adult and pediatric cardiac patients. She had a gift of being a compassionate nurse to adults and children. Apart from work she was giving with her time and knowledge by helping seniors find resources for palliative care. She also participated in a mentoring program for children through Sea Coast church.

Besides her love for her son Miles, Shelley enjoyed traveling, fine wines, boating, and spending time with her family & friends. She was a devout child of God and was extremely active in the study of His Word. She was generous with her ability to comfort people and share her faith. As one friend said, “Shelley was a beacon of kindness to so many. Her infectious smile lives on through her sweet baby son Miles.”

In addition to her husband, son, and parents, Shelley is survived by her sister, Dr. Lindsay Grosso Acker (Daven Acker); brother, Michael Folger Grosso (Dr. Emmi Grosso); and mother and father in law, Lee and Phillip Hoffman; brother in laws Phillip Hoffman Jr. (Becky Hoffman) and W. Scott Hoffman (Ginny Hoffman).
